How do l connect to the web interface to manage my NetBox?

Open your web browser and go to the following URL: <sitekey>.safenetbox.biz.
Where <sitekey> is the unique identifier for your NetBox. If you are on your local network you can also access your NetBox by browsing to www.netbox.

What is a site key?

A site key is a unique identifier of your NetBox. It is configured as a part of the installation service. You may need your site key to access the web interface for management and for NetBox support queries.

Where do l find my site key?

Login to your NetBox web interface, and the site key is shown on the bottom of the side bar. Alternatively it is also displayed on the LCD screen (if available) on the front of the NetBox, or via the monitor for VMWare and IBM installations. The site key is the part at the front of the domain on one of the views, in the format <sitekey>.safenetbox.biz.

How do l check if my NetBox has basic network connectivity?

Go to "Administration > Test Configuration". This will run a series of basic network connectivity tests such and dns lookups, connections to remote web sites and external connectivity for key services back into your NetBox. If all services pass with [ok] then basic connectivity is confirmed.

I'm an end user and have a support question who should l contact?

As an end user of the NetBox your first point of contact for any support or management queries on the NetBox should be referred to the authorised business partner that sold you the NetBox.

I'm an authorised Business Partner and have a support question who should l contact?

As an authorised Business Partner of NetBox Blue you may submit support requests via our online support portal. For support on incidences that require immediate attention please contact NetBox Blue support on 1300 737 060.

Where do l find the NetBox user guide?

Each NetBox contains a full onboard copy of the NetBox user guide. Simply browse to the NetBox web interface and click on the help icon on the top right hand corner:

From there you can choose to view a table of contents or click on the search button to search the user guide or view or a printable version of the NetBox help:

Where do l find more information on common configuration setups?

Your partner is trained in many different configurations, contact them for your requirements.

How do l view or schedule reports from the NetBox?

Browse to the web interface and go to "Reporting > Schedule" to schedule a report or "Reporting > Generate" to generate a html report immediately.

How can l be sure my NetBox is up to date?

Make sure that TCP port 4 is open for the NetBox to be able to receive updates from our Business Continuity Centre. You can use the "Administration > Test Configuration" to confirm access availability.

I have made a change to the NetBox but it doesn't seem to have taken effect?

Make sure to click "update" on the configuration page then "apply" on the left hand side of the menu.
