Bloomberg acquires Netbox Blue

Analyst - Gartner

Netbox Blue has worked closely with Gartner analysts to understand the growing demand for Next Generation Social Information Governance.

Gartner recently recognised Netbox Blue's unique capabilities by naming the company as a Cool Vendor. This research document specifically made mention of the platform's value to archive and eDiscovery vendors.

Gartner and other analysts have increased their focus on Social Information Governance and recently, Gartner Analyst, French Caldwell, stated in the research note entitled "Improving your social risk IQ" the following statement:

"By year-end 2016, 75% of enterprises will have social risk events beyond their risk tolerances."

In the most recent Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Information Archive vendors (November 2013), specific mention was made of the growing requirement for the reliable capture of social information to meet regulatory requirements:

"In some industries, such as financial services and the public sector, it has become important to be able to capture social media content (such as that generated via Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter), as well as text messages, IM, Web pages, and even content residing in SaaS applications or cloud file-sharing services. This requirement for financial services is becoming mainstream and is highly dependent on an organization's requirements for regulatory compliance."

In July and August 2014 Netbox Blue was highlighted in seven separate Gartner research notes.
