The independent Enex TestLab has heaped praise on the NetBox in a recent product review.

"One could certainly consider it the Swiss Army knife of IT security and management solutions, trustworthy, reliable and indispensable," according to the TestLab senior test engineer, Matt Tett.

"It is rare that the Lab is as impressed by a product and service as much as this. We liked the product so much we bought one," he says.

According to the TestLab report, it stands out from the competition in several ways.

"These devices are incredibly user friendly being extremely easy to setup and use, secondly they are a remotely managed service as well," Mr Tett says.

Once the NetBox is installed and configured, the NetBox Blue Business Continuity Centre continues to monitor each appliance. The centre actively pushes out feature enhancements, patches and definitions to all appliances.

"This type of proactive and real-time support from a hardware vendor and software developer certainly gives the end-user confidence and the feeling of being supported well," Mr Tett says.

One of the most impressive features of the NetBox is its reporting tools. These put managers back in control of their networks, by providing up to the minute information on how their network is performing and how it is being used.

"The reporting facilities provided by the NetBox based on information the system collects are very impressive and the reports equally so," Mr Tett says.
